This Privacy Policy explains how Pipen Holdings and its companies, products, and software applications collect, use, protect, and share information when a person uses our websites, mobile apps, platforms, tools, APIs, support services, or any digital product published by us.
1. Scope
This policy applies to software products operated by Pipen Holdings or by a company in our group, unless a specific application or service publishes a separate policy.
When an application includes in-product notices, operating system permissions, or consent screens, those notices supplement this policy.
2. Information we may collect
The information collected depends on the application, the features used, and the permissions granted by the user.
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, organization, credentials, preferences, and settings.
- Usage data: navigation events, features used, sessions, technical logs, IP address, device identifiers, operating system, language, and diagnostics.
- User content: files, images, messages, responses, forms, documents, notes, settings, or any information the user uploads or generates inside the software.
- Support data: messages sent to support, bug reports, screenshots, business requests, and communications with our team.
- Payment data: subscription, purchase, billing, or receipt information. When a purchase is made through the App Store, Google Play, or another processor, the payment is processed under that third party rules and we do not store full card numbers.
- Device permissions: location, camera, photos, files, microphone, contacts, notifications, or other permissions only when a feature requires them and the user authorizes them.
3. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, personalize, and improve our applications and services.
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and protect sessions.
- Process requests, purchases, subscriptions, support, billing, and operational communications.
- Diagnose errors, measure performance, prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and uses that violate our terms.
- Develop new features, internal analytics, product research, and quality testing.
- Comply with legal, tax, regulatory, security, and app store requirements.
4. Artificial intelligence and automation
Some products may use automation, artificial intelligence models, or processing services to summarize, classify, generate, search, extract, or transform information the user chooses to process.
We do not use private customer content to train public third-party models unless expressly stated in the application or unless we have consent or another sufficient legal basis. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by the user before making important decisions.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only when necessary to operate the software or comply with applicable obligations.
- Infrastructure, hosting, database, analytics, authentication, messaging, payment, support, security, and monitoring providers.
- App stores, platforms, payment processors, or distribution partners when needed for purchases, downloads, refunds, support, or policy compliance.
- Pipen Holdings group companies to operate, administer, or improve shared products.
- Authorities, advisors, or third parties when required by law, rights defense, fraud prevention, security, or compliance.
- Third parties authorized by the user through integrations, exports, invitations, permissions, or actions inside the product.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, support operations, or perform contracts.
If an application allows account creation, the user may request deletion of the account and associated data by writing to contacto@pipen.mx or using available in-app controls. We may retain limited information when required for legal, tax, anti-fraud, security, or reasonable backup purposes.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, so we also recommend using strong passwords, protecting devices, and keeping applications updated.
8. Children
Our general products are not directed to children under 13 and do not intentionally collect information from children. If a product is designed for children or families, we will publish additional notices and controls consistent with applicable law and the relevant app store policies.
9. User rights and controls
Depending on the applicable jurisdiction, the user may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of information, and to withdraw consent when processing depends on consent. To exercise rights, write to contacto@pipen.mx.
10. Third-party services
Our applications may integrate with third-party services, SDKs, APIs, app stores, or links. Use of those services may be subject to their own policies and terms. We recommend reviewing their notices before connecting accounts or sharing information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our products, practices, laws, or app store requirements. We will publish the current version on this page and update the last modified date.
